We
have carefully restored this old family house of late eighteenth century,
paying particular attention to the choice of interior and furniture
and keeping intact the heat of local construction materials: wood for beams and slabs, the old tiles for the roof, large
white walls, made with the typical stone of this area of the
Euganean Hills, the stone floors of the ground floor.
The heating system (low energy consumption), has been coupled
with solar
panels to produce hot water. The bedrooms have the names
of four of our prevailing variety of olive trees: Leccino,
Marzemino, Pendolino and Rasara.
On the ground
floor (view the map) are the porch, the entrance, a kitchen
with the pergola outside, the dining room with a large fireplace,
two double rooms, each with en suit bathroom: Leccino, with
a large French window that goes directly to the garden, and
Marzemino, that welcomes the warm light of the afternoon.
On the first floor (view the map)
the large living room, converted from the barn, and two double
bedrooms, also with their own en suit bathroom: Pendolino, which
can easily accommodate three beds, and Rasara, a master suite
with bathroom and hall with shower and tub.
