From Monte Sereo you can quickly reach the cities of Padua (km 20), Vicenza (km 25), Venice (km 70), Verona (km 76), Treviso (km 82).
The whole area is rich in history, with the first settlements of the Venetians whose testimonies can be seen in Este at the National Atestino Museum and in Padua at the Eremitani Civic Museum i. It is highly suggested to visit the medieval fortified cities of Monselice, Este and Montagnana, the village of Arquà Petrarca, which hosted the poet in the last years of his life, the Camaldolese monastery on Mount Rua, the Benedictine abbey of Praglia.

XVI the Euganean Hills and the surrounding Venetian plain became the holiday resort of patrician families, who established their summer residence here, erecting numerous villas such as Barbarigo one with its fantastic garden in Valsanzibio, Villa dei Vescovi in Torreglia, Catajo Castle in Battaglia Terme.

In the museum of the Bacchiglione river in the Castle of S.
